I graduated! I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to participate in the Davis Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. It was an incredible experience from start to finish.
Over the past year, I got a deeper, behind-the-scenes look at the county I live in. From touring the Davis County Sheriff’s Office and jail, to visiting the Utah State Capitol during session, to engaging with local businesses and community leaders, each experience expanded my perspective on how our community operates and thrives.
What stood out most was the connection. Building relationships with other professionals in the program, learning alongside them, and engaging directly with leaders across business, government, and public service made this a truly impactful experience.
Programs like this matter. They do more than inform. They equip you to lead more effectively within your organization and your community. I’m walking away more informed, more connected, and more engaged in the community I serve.
